V-BAR & R-BAR Rendezvous
The rendezvous approaches have two techniques , one is V-bar the other is R-bar.
The prefered rendezvous approach is along the positive V-bar vector. That means the approaching spacecraft will be coming up on spacestation from in front of it, along its velocity vector.
R-bar is a little bit tricky because if spacecraft is not at the same altitude as the spacestation, a spacecraft tend to drift ahead of spacestation(if approaching from below) or behind (if approaching from above).
